I agree. Think about it. The success or failure of a team, or family, or company, or church, or ministry depends on its leader. Because the leader sets the tone, embodies the vision, and builds the culture.

This is one of the biggest reasons why the world is in such a mess. When bad leaders are in charge, bad things happen to the group they’re leading. When parents are selfish, or proud, or petty, the family suffers. When politicians exploit the poor, the country suffers. When religious leaders are abusive, the church suffers. When entrepreneurs just care only for their profits but not their customers, they may earn in the short-term, but the business will suffer in the long-term.

Today, I pray that God makes us His Leaders that mirror His goodness to the world.
