Growing Up, I Was Bobo

Growing up as a kid, I probably had undiagnosed mild dyslexia.

That’s my only explanation why in a spelling quiz in school, out of 20 words, I could only spell two.

During that prehistoric era, dyslexia wasn’t a thing yet and I was just called bobo (dumb). You can imagine how that obliterated my self-esteem. I didn’t like reading. I abhorred books. I’d rather watch cartoons. This experience cursed my entire academic life all the way till college, as I defined myself as a below-average student.

How could a person who didn’t like books end up writing 60+ bestselling books?

Answer: I write for people like me who don’t like to read books. I write simply with short sentences so much so almost anyone can understand me. My curse became a blessing.

Today, you will learn how God turns curses into blessings.

Have a heart-transforming Feast today!

May your dreams come true,

Bo Sanchez
